One person perished as a ravenous fire tore through a mobile home at 19 Leetes Island Road In Branford, CT on 7/24/19. Radiant heat from the fire, that was reported just before 4:00PM, also caused considerable damage to an adjacent residence. A propane tank at the rear of the home was also threatened by the flames. Branford Firefighters were assisted by a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) from the Guilford Fire Department.
