02/21/20 Waterbury, CT - Waterbury firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire from this large abandoned dwelling. Companies fought the fire with an interior attack until the dwelling became untenable. Members were pulled out in favor of a defensive operation due to heavy fire throughout. Two ladder pipes, one tower ladder and multiple hand lines worked to darken down the fire. The fire is being investigated as suspicious due to the dwelling being vacant.
