10/28/21, just after 8:30 AM, Hamden Firefighters were dispatched to 667 Mix Avenue for a kitchen fire. On arrival, Engine 2 gave the working fire and reporting heavy black smoke out the window as well as a civilian hanging out the window. Car 1 then arrived on scene and transmitted a second alarm. This brought North Haven fire to the scene. After the second alarm, crews made quick work of the fire.
