MVA - Granny Rd, Medford, NY - 2/6/21
Medford NY – On Saturday February 6, 2021 at about 4:36 PM the Gordon Heights FD was activated for a reported Motor Vehicle Crash. At Granny Rd and Mill Rd with reported entrapment. Suffolk County Police 6th Precinct officers and Emergency Services Section were also dispatched to the scene. Working together Police and Firefighters ensured that they were able to make sure they got the occupants of the 2 vehicles out.
The Gordon Heights FD Chief requested that in addition to his 2 ambulances that Middle Island also be activated for an ALS Ambulance to the scene of the crash. Personnel from all departments worked to treat the patients that were at the scene and placed them in ambulances for transport to a local hospital. According to Suffolk County Police none of the injuries were serious on nature.
