Bayshore- Car VS Building With Entrap 2/6/22
Bayshore NY- On Sunday February 6th at about 1:43 PM Suffolk Police Emergency Dispatchers began to receive calls for a Motor Vehicle Crash in the are of 840 & 846 Eastbound Sunrise Highway Service Rd. Suffolk Police 3rd Precinct , Bayshore FD & Bayshore Brightwaters Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene.
Additional details were provided to responders that a car struck the Bank of America, and 1 person was reported to be trapped. On arrival of Bayshore FD Assistant Chief 3-1-31 he confirmed a single vehicle struck a building and 1 person was pinned. Extrication was performed by fire department to remove the passenger. According to police the 53-year-old passenger in the Toyota was taken South Shore University Hospital by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.
The Driver was also taken to South Shore University Hospital but for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A section of the parking lot was closed for an extended period by police for an accident investigation.
