5 Alarm Building Fire - 1919 Church Ave, Brooklyn, NY - 3/26/22
Around 2:45 the Brooklyn Central Office started taking calls for smoke in the area of Church and Ocean Aves. Companies searched the area and found a fire in a large 2 story taxpayer. Companies had difficult access due to deep-seated fire and a concrete roof, and at one point were pulled out of the building following a mayday. An aggressive attack was made from the 2/3 side of the building and companies were able to get the fire knocked down. A 5th Alarm was transmitted for relief around 5 AM.
