Second structure fire of the night for me, just got back into bed after taking in the structure fire on West Grove St in Waterbury when the alarm was struck for Beacon Falls. The first fire officer on scene reported heavy fire showing from a vacant 2 story dwelling and a request for a RIT team from Seymour and ladder truck from Naugatuck. With heavy fire throughout the attic and second floor firefighters would take and exterir attack. The fire would eventually vent through the roof and cause a partial collapse. With the help of Naugatuck's ladder pipe the crews wold knock down the main body of fire, but the home would be a total loss.
