Tech Rescue - 104 Hobbs Rd, Princeton, MA - 1/1/19
Around 10:24hrs Princeton 911 received a call about a young male who fell in the woods and as unconscious. Fire fighters and police quickly responded to the scene with a plethora of rescuers and equipment.
The 17 year old fell off an approximately 30' cliff about a 1/2 mile into the woods while hiking with friends. Rescuers had a hard time reaching him with narrow trails and slippery terrain caused by rain all night. With the use of the departments ATV 4 wheeler, ropes and brute strength the FD extricated him in under an hours time (11:10hrs on the way out).
He was transported to Umass Medical Center in Worcester by Princeton A1 with unknown injuries.
