Tewksbury firefighters were dispatched to the area of 42 Chandler St on a report of a house fire on Thursday night November 17 2016. Crews had heavy fire showing on arrival from a 1.5 story wood frame with an attached 1 story brick. The fire had extended from the home to the attached structure and also into the homes attic. Firefighters took a defensive posture right away due to both structures being under renovation. It took about 1 hour to bring the fire under control.
