Lawrence firefighters battled a 3 alarm fire in a large multi dwelling located on E Haverhill St on Tuesday afternoon November 29, 2016. Crews did assist a female out of the building and 1 firefighter was injured at the scene. After an aggressive interior attack, crews had to transition into a defensive posture due to the heavy fire conditions. Multiple towns assisted both at the scene and in providing the city coverage.
