Dracut firefighters were sent to this home on Methuen St after a phone alarm for a fire in the house. Companies arrived with heavy smoke showing from the garage of the split ranch style dwelling.

After an initial attack on the interior, crews were forced into a defensive posture due to the fire having rapidly progressed thru the walls and having taken control of the attic. Ultimately 3 alarms were transmitted with mutual aid from several area cities providing manpower.
