The truck was headed down Willis Street around 9:30 a.m. when The truck driver lost control, crossed South Street and Memorial Boulevard before it crashed into the Pequabuck river. No other vehicles were involved. Bristol Police calling it a "miracle" CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s Emergency Response team responded to the crash for Clean up. Some soda bottles and debris also went into the river. Local firefighters were able to contain the diesel fuel and oil that got into the river.. D&L towing out of Berlin responded to the scene with 2 heavy Rescue Wreckers that got the truck right side up as photo'd.. Driver was able to climb out of the truck with minor injuries but was transported to Bristol Hospital to get checked out...
