On the evening of Sunday, September 11th, 2022, the Pavilion Fire Department responded with mutual aid to a reported apartment fire on Big Tree Road. Responding units confirmed a working fire in an apartment building and quickly called for a second alarm for additional manpower to the scene. Units from three different counties worked to bring the fire under control.
