At 0513 this morning South Meriden E6 and Meriden E1, E2, E3, T1, C3, C1, C9 responded to 40 Sidehill Road in South Meriden for a house fire. First on scene units declared a working fire and a second alarm was transmitted adding E4, E5, C4 and C5. Mutual aid engines from Wallingford and Southington, and Berlin T9 responded to the City for station coverage. No inuries were reported, though a partial floor collapse into the basement garage and fire extension to the attic did occur. Fire declared out at approximately 0635.
