Norwich Fire, was dispatched to 31 Bentley Ave for a reported dwelling fire, Dispatch updated Battalion 1 of power lines down in the street and a possible occupant in the building. Battalion 1 arrived and reported fire showing on the A side.Engine 3 stretched in and began fire attack, as the truck split up and searched and one went too the roof. SqA and Engine two assisted with several fire ground duties, (search, water supply and 2nd and 3rd hand lines.) The fire spread to the upper floor and attic space before being brought under control. The 2nd and 3rd alarm companies were brought into the scene for man-power. Unfortunately this fire has been declared a fatal fire. More info can be found in the local paper.
