2 Alarm Condo Fire- 315 Foxwood Ln, Milford, CT - 4/17/2021
Around 5:20 in the afternoon on April 17, the Milford ECC received multiple calls for a structure fire in the Foxwood condo complex. Squad 1, Engine 4, Engine 6, Engine 7, Quint 5, Tower 1, Medic 1, Medic 2, along with Cars 1, 4, 5 and 6, plus the canteen, responded. Companies had a visible column of smoke before they had arrived, and on arrival, Squad 1 called heavy fire showing from the C-side of one of the condos. Car 4 quickly struck a 2nd Alarm. Squad 1 and Engine 6 quickly stretched lines and made an aggressive transitional to interior attack and were able to knock down the main body of fire in roughly 20 minutes. Tower 1 and Quint 5 flew their aerials to the roof to vent. 1 firefighter was transported to the hospital with burn injuries and has since been released. Red Cross is assisting the occupants of the condo. The Milford Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
