Around 8:30 am, the Bridgeport ECC received multiple calls for a house fire at 331 Griffin Ave. This Lewis-6 assignment consisted of Engine 1, Engine 12, Engine 15 as R.I.T, Engine 16, Ladder 5, Ladder 10, Rescue 5, Safety Officer 1, and both battalions. Car 2 and FM-4 later responded. On arrival, Engine 12 found a large tree across the road just in front of the house, the tree pulled down wires and ripped them from the house. Engine 12 also reported fire showing from the attic area and stretched a line. Companies had the fire under control in around 20 minutes.
