At 4:25pm, the Bridgeport ECC dispatched a call for a structure fire at 1317 Iranistan Ave, this Charlie-6 assignment consisted of Engine 1, Engine 3, Engine 4, Engine 7 as R.I.T., Ladder 5, Ladder 11, Rescue 5, Safety Officer 1, and both battalions. Car 2 later responded. On arrival, Engine 3 asked dispatch about the address, as there was no 1317. Engine 4 caught the plug at Wood & Iranistan while Engine 3 continued up the street. Engine 3 arrived at 1369 Iranistan, a vacant and boarded 2 1/2 story dwelling and announced they had smoke from the rear. Engine 4 made an approximately 430ft lay down the street to the call while Engine 3 caught the plug at Olive & Iranistan. 2 lines were stretched and a working fire was transmitted. Companies found fire in the basement and encountered access issues with no stairs into the basement. Rescue 5 made searches that turned up inconclusive, however, they did find hoarding conditions on the 3rd floor. The fire was put under control quickly and companies soon packed up.
