Yesterday around noon, a call for a boat fire came in for Stamford Fire. Engines 2, 3, 4, Truck 2, Fireboat 236, Rescue 1, Medic 3, Units 3, 4, and 7 responded to the call. Engine 2 called out a header as they were leaving quarters. On arrival, they found a 31ft cabin cruiser fully involved. Thankfully with no exposure risks. Crews were able to get the fire under control around 12:30. The fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
