Around 2 pm yesterday afternoon, multiple calls were received by the Stamford ECC for a brush fire on Wild Duck Rd. Long Ridge Fire Engines 71, 73, Tanker 78, and Stamford Fire Engines 8 and 9 responded to the call. Crews quickly contained a .2 acre brush fire in the backyard. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
