On May 19, 2021 while Fairfield Engine 1 and Ladder 2 are covering Bridgeport Fire Department's houses. A neighbor of the Philemon St/Sedan Terrace area called 911 reporting a house on fire at 3 Sedan Terrace. Fairfield Engines 2, 3, 4, 5, Rescue 1, Car 3 with automatic aid from Westport were dispatched to the call. On arrival, Engine 3 reported smoke showing from the D-side of the structure, Car 3 soon arrived, confirmed the first report and declared a working fire. Engine 3 pulled a line and quickly knocked an exterior fire on the A/D corner of the house. Recall was placed holding E3, E2, E4 and Car 3. Car 2 and FM-1 also responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fairfield Fire Marshal's office. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
