Around 1:30 this afternoon, Shelton Police Dispatch received a call reporting a fire in an attached garage on Capitol Drive. Companies 1, 3, and 5 were dispatched. Firefighter 303 arrived on scene and reported light smoke showing from the garage. Engine 32 caught a hydrant and made an approximately 650 ft lay to the fire where they stretched and operated 1 line. Companies responded with Engine 32, Engine 35, Engine 52, Squad 1, and Ladder 51, with Cars 3, 5, 6 and FM-2. Companies quickly had the fire knocked and the cause is under investigation by the Shelton Fire Marshal
