Around 2pm today, the Bridgeport ECC received a call of a kitchen fire at 235 Quarry St. This Lewis-2 assignment consisted of Engines 12, 10, 4, and 16, Ladders 5 and 10, Rescue 5, Safety 1, and both Battalions. Engine 12 arrived on scene and reported a smoke condition on the first floor and they were stretching a line, Safety 1 arrived soon after and transmitted a working fire, companies had the fire quickly knocked. Nobody was home at the time of the fire, the fire marshal’s office is investigating
