Around 11:30 this morning, companies in Norwalk were dispatched to a leaking propane tank on Woodchuck Court. On arrival, companies found a 120-gallon propane tank with an active leak. Fairfield County Hazmat 1 was requested to the scene from Westport. Upon Hazmat 1's arrival, companies set up to burn off the propane in the leaking tank. Engine 2's bumper line was stretched for safety. Once a safe level of propane was burned off, the leak was secured and companies packed up. The scene was turned over to the homeowners and Gault Energy.
