Around 1 in the afternoon, the Bridgeport, ECC received a call for a truck fire at the corner of Kossuth and Pearl streets. Engine 10 and Ladder 10 quickly arrived on scene to find a well involved moving truck parked under powerlines. Engine 10 quickly stretched a line while Ladder 10 and PD blocked the road. Battalion 2 soon arrived and took command. The bulk of the fire was knocked down quickly. Companies worked on extensive overhaul on the truck filled with furniture. The Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause
