Around 5:10pm, the Bridgeport ECC received a call about a structure fire at 1582 Park Ave. This David-3 assignment consisted of Engine 3, Engine 4, Engine 7, Engine 12 as R.I.T., Ladder 5, Ladder 11, Rescue 5, Safety Officer 1, and both battalions. Engine 4 on arrival found smoke showing from the second floor. Battalion 1 soon after transmitted a working fire and reported they had fire in the wall of the 2nd floor and extending to the 3rd. The fire was knocked in about 10 minutes, the last unit cleared at around 6:20. Almost immediately following, a second working fire occurred on Wheeler Ave involving a garage. I did not respond to this incident as it was quickly knocked.
