Around 8:45 pm, Westport dispatch received a call regarding smoke and embers coming from a crawlspace inside the home. Westport dispatched Engine 2, Engine 4, Engine 5, Engine 6, Truck 1, and Car 3. Fairfield Car 3 also responded to this incident along with Westport Cars 1 and 2, and FDs 1-3. Fairfield Ladder 2 was called as R.I.T., but was sent to HQ for coverage with Wilton Engine 1 prior to arrival. Engine 5 laid in and all the way up the driveway. After a lengthy investigation, companies found fire in a wall on the 1st floor and knocked it with a water can, there was no extension. The last units cleared around 10 pm.
