Dallas Station 18 recently placed the new Engine 18 from Pierce into service. On this past Sunday I was able to visit with the crew as they went over pump operations on their new apparatus with some other members of the station. Also pictured is Rescue 18 which is the test bed for the larger rescues that may soon be coming to Dallas. R18 features an F450 chassis (F350 is standard here) with extended cab, and a rear box unit with the Stryker Power-Load which is also new to Dallas.
