Having been long devoted to the purchase of Quality, Crimson and what is now Spartan apparatus, the city of Dallas has recently divergerd from their regular purchasing habits and is beginning to outfit their fleet with Pierce apparatus. Truck 19 (temp. housing at 44's while renovations take place) is one of the first 3 aerials and the first platform delivered to the city by Pierce. Within the next year the city will continue to expand their new Pierce fleet with 5 engines and 3 trucks delivered and another 3 and 2 in order along with some special purpose apparatus.
