Grass Fire - Cypress, TX - 3/21/19
While attending a vehicle training evolution, crews of Cy-Fair VFD's Engine 5 received a run to a nearby lot under development for a reported grass fire. Upon arrival crews found two piles of brush that had been smoldering for several hours. Firefighters deployed their red line and knocked down the body of the fire quickly, however remained on-scene for an extended overhaul.
