Just after sunset, crews of Plano Fire-Rescue were dispatched into Station 9's first due area for a reported residential fire. Upon arrival Engine 9 reported heavy fire on the Delta side with thick smoke throughout the home. E9 crews made a blitz attack to protect the Delta exposure risk. Once the flames on the Delta side were knocked back, crews entered the home to preform a primary search and place the fire under control. Crews remained on scene for several hours overhauling the home and salvaging.
