Engine Co. No. 11 stretched on a vacant dwelling overnight in the 900 block of W. Martin Street in the “Cattleman Square” neighborhood just outside of Downtown. Engine 11 checked on location with quite a bit of fire throughout the second floor of a two story vacant dwelling. Crews have made multiple working fires over the decades in this building; knowing the hazards within utilized Platform 1 and Platform 11, as well as multiple handlines to get a good knockdown on the fire.
